The Rope Tensioning Device
The MSM12 rope tensioning system is a special tool that helps measure the tension of ropes when they are being installed or maintained.
How Does it Work?
This system uses sensors that are attached to the elevator ropes to measure the tension in kilograms. The information is then displayed on a portable LCD touch screen.
Features of the System
The MSM12 system can measure ropes that are 6 to 16 mm thick, with a maximum tension of 1000kg per rope. It automatically calculates an average value to evenly distribute tension on all ropes. You can also save and display this information on your computer using the USB cable and software provided.
